KARNAK 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion Roof Coating is a general purpose non-fibered emulsion roof coating prepared from an asphalt binder, carefully refined and emulsified in water by means of selected colloids. The asphalt emulsion thus produced is of heavy paint consistency. KARNAK 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion Roof Coating is a tough, flexible black-asphalt compound especially designed to provide excellent protection to most roof surfaces against weathering. KARNAK 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion Roof Coating will not burn or support combustion in a liquid state. This is a low odor coating that resist the absorption of exterior moisture.

USES:
KARNAK 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion Roof Coating is used to coat and protect steep asphalt roofs, modified bitumen membranes, metal corrugated roofs as well as concrete, wood and most backup materials.

Preparation & Application
SURFACE PREPARATION:
All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease, rust, dirt, loose paint or other foreign matter prior to application. Excess water should be removed, if possible, before application of KARNAK 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion Roof Coating.
APPLICATION:
KARNAK 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion Roof Coating is easily applied by brush, roller or spray equipment.
BRUSH APPLICATION:
Apply with a wide fiber brush at the rate of 2 to 3 gallons per 100 sq. ft.
SPRAY APPLICATION:
Utilize a standard heavy duty spray pump using heavy duty guns and nozzles. Apply at the rate of 2 to 3 gallons per 100 sq. ft. Equipment manufacturer should be consulted for more complete information.
Caution/Care of Tools
CARE OF TOOLS:
Tools and other equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Dried material may be cleaned with mineral spirits or Karna-Klean. Take necessary precautions when handling combustible materials.
CAUTION:
Do not apply when rain is imminent. Protect from freezing. Coating must be dried before exposure to water. Store in a heated room and keep container covered when not in use. Keep out of reach of children. Do not thin. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Dispose of in an environmentally safe manner.
COLD-PROCESS SYSTEMS AND COATINGS, EITHER EMULSION OR SOLVENT BASED, SHOULD ONLY BE INSTALLED ON DECKS WITH POSITIVE DRAINAGE.
