A: What Fabric to use will depend on the products being used (See Usage Chart), and the intended application. Listed below is the make-up of each Karnak Fabric.

Karnak #3036 Polymat and #5540 Resat-mat (both polyester)

  • High tensile strength
  • Rot and Mildew resistance
  • Good resistance to solvents and chemicals
  • Good low temperature properties
Karnak #31 Fiberglass Membrane and #130 Glass Mat (#130 not ASTM rated)
  • ASTM D-1668 Type III
  • Good flexibility without cracking
  • High tensile strength
  • Rot and Mildew resistant
  • Acid and Alkali resistant
Karnak #34 Cotton Fabric
  • Asphalt saturated
