Recommendations for Various Grades of Roof Cements

The laboratory recommends the following temperature ranges
for using summer, semi- and winter grades of flashing cements:
Winter Grade: Below 50°F - 75°F
Semi-Grade: 50°F - 75°F
Summer Grade: 75°F - 120°F
This should give enough leeway that if the temperature varies slightly,
the contractor won't have problems. What we don't want to see if
someone going outside on a 60°F morning with winter grade material,
then have the temperature go up to 85°F, and the material sags
due to the excess solvent in the winter grade.
