Note: This type of system normally requires the use of either a roof resaturant (Asphalt or Cold Tar base) or a Cold Process Cement. Resaturants require re-graveling (Approx. 400lbs. / 100 sq.ft.).

Coating may commence sooner than the prescribed weathering period if, the surface is first coated with a clay base emulsion and allowed to fully cure 5 to 10 days.

All rust or scale may be removed by wire-brushing, power washing or sand blasting. Power-wash shall consist of a minimum of 2,000 psi water pressure in order to remove all contaminants from the roof surface. Metal roofing should be allowed to completely dry prior to application of any primer or coating.
